Make a Differance in the Life of a Child this Christmas!

This is a way to help kids (orphan, street kids and poor kids in Bulgaria) with a Christmas Gift. Much like the idea of filling and wrapping a shoe box that is sent to needy children this is the same idea but instead of actually buy, filling, wrapping and sending the box. You do it on paper through your church. We get the list of things purchased (what you marked) and get it to a needy child. Once you have filled out your list and returned it with the cost of the items. The funds will be deposited online (or you can mail a check if done early enough to our missions board) and then we can access them to purchase gifts and food for needy children and families.

Look at why this program is good al around:

1) By you giving the funds and letting us do the shopping we help local business – which have most of the items less expensive than in America this puts fund back in the pockets of locals business folks. Helping in a small way our economy.
2) You save the shipping cost. Not only to the carrier costs but often when we get packages we end up paying taxes on it here so it costs the missions more money.
3) You save time – Your time going to the store, you save the shipping time making sure it arrives by Christmas.
4) We can help tailor make the boxes to fit the needs and age of the children. Plus we can make sure that they are all similar (as the kids will compare what they receive) to help with unity.

If you use the downloadable resourses it is a great teaching tool for mission with Kids and Families!

The Difference You Make

  • 2007 Report
In 2007 we were able to partner with the Good Mother's Good Children ministry in Sandanski to help about 25 Children in their organization. Additionally, we worked with Samaritan's help (a Bulgarian Foundation) to take clothes, food and gifts helping another 10 families with about 30 Kids. Additionally, we helped another 7 families in that area that folks from our church had contacts with and knew needed some help.
